![]() ![]() "Treat others as you would want to be treated." No harmful language (curse words are ok depending on the context). Any discussion of such things on multiplayer will result in moderator action. While I don't personally use any hacks (except for the lootfilter, which is technically a MH), I won't disallow you all from discussing such things here, provided it is only in the context of single player only.Since PlugY is a mod exclusively for single player, any questions/comments directly related to playing on Battle.Net or private servers should be posted in the appropriate subreddits. It does make the game easier by being able to use gear found on other characters, but you can just as easily decide not to do that because there's the individual stash and the shared stash. ![]() I think there's no shame in using it, most of the d2 single player streamers use it. I see plugy as what single player should have been. ![]() If you feel like it's cheating, then that's a good compromise. I ended up playing through one character without, and then used plug y after that. It also lets you do some of the more difficult content only available online (uber diablo and pandemonium event). But if I remember correctly, the inability to have ladder only runewords in single player was an accident. PlugY also let's you use ladder only runewords, so that's where the real power boost comes from vs not plugy. I previously disliked playing single player because it was frustrating to find a bow on my sorc, or a good wand on my paladin, or a claw on my druid, and not be able to use it. In online play, there's the ability to transfer items to other characters and have "mules" to store more stuff. I wouldn't personally be too worried about it not being vanilla. ![]()
